Our research projects have

had a huge influence on the folk scene and are now making inroads in the world of classical music; dance teams have been built on our work and academic conferences have requested our input based on the 19th century vernacular repertoire. The object of this work is to share our findings with the wider community to enhance both current and future practice and to expand our understanding of the tradition and it’s place in the world.
